Creating Pure Couture – The Sustainable Fashion Vlog Leading Environmental Change

Pure Couture are passionate advocates for sustainable fashion looking to make a meaningful impact in an industry notorious for its environmental damage. They had a vision to create an environmentally friendly vlog that would educate, inspire, and influence change in the fashion world, but they needed help getting off the ground and noticed in an increasingly crowded digital space.

Pure Couture came to us facing several critical challenges in launching their sustainable fashion vlog: Market Credibility: The sustainable fashion space was becoming increasingly crowded with influencers and content creators, many of whom lacked genuine expertise or commitment to environmental causes. Pure Couture needed to establish themselves as authentic leaders rather than just another fashion vlog with a sustainability angle. Visual Differentiation: Fashion content is inherently visual, and Pure Couture needed a distinctive brand identity that would stand out in feeds dominated by fast fashion brands with enormous marketing budgets. Their content needed to be immediately recognisable whilst reflecting their environmental values. Audience Education Challenge: Unlike traditional fashion content that focuses on trends and consumption, Pure Couture needed to educate their audience about complex environmental issues whilst keeping content engaging and accessible. The brand needed to make sustainability appealing rather than preachy. Startup Visibility: As new content creators, Pure Couture faced the challenge of getting noticed in algorithms that favour established accounts. They needed branding and artwork that would help their content get discovered and shared organically. Balancing Fashion and Environment: Pure Couture needed to appeal to fashion-conscious audiences whilst promoting environmental responsibility – potentially conflicting messages that required careful brand positioning to reconcile effectively.

We worked closely with Pure Couture to develop a comprehensive brand strategy that would help them establish leadership in sustainable fashion content: Brand Strategy & Positioning We developed a positioning strategy that established Pure Couture as the bridge between high fashion and environmental responsibility. Rather than positioning sustainability as a compromise, we positioned it as the future of sophisticated fashion consumption – making environmental consciousness aspirational rather than restrictive. Visual Identity Creation We created a distinctive visual identity that reflected both fashion sophistication and environmental values. The brand needed to feel premium and fashion-forward whilst communicating authenticity and environmental commitment. The design system was developed to work effectively across all digital platforms where fashion content thrives. Content Strategy & Brand Guidelines We developed comprehensive brand guidelines that would ensure consistency across all content formats – from Instagram posts and YouTube videos to blog articles and collaborations. The guidelines included messaging frameworks that would help Pure Couture communicate complex environmental concepts in accessible, engaging ways. Artwork & Visual Systems We created a library of branded artwork and visual systems that would help Pure Couture’s content stand out in crowded social media feeds. The artwork was designed to be both eye-catching and informative, supporting their educational mission whilst maintaining visual appeal.
